Creative Commons is an important organization which develops, supports, and stewards legal and technical infrastructure that maximizes digital creativity, sharing, and innovation. They had a poster competition for their upcoming Global Summit, which will be held in Warsaw, Poland from September 16 to 18. The design which won in the popular vote category was created by Shichigoro (image above), a talented Japanese artist. The concept of the artwork is a robot acting as an intermediary between a rabbit and a bear, which represents how Creative Commons licenses facilitate connections between parties. The artwork is shared under a CC-BY license.
