Entrelacs: Marie-Josée Roy and Jérôme Prieur

by Denis on September 22, 2011

Marie-Josée Roy and Jérôme Prieur are two visual artists who are much loved here at von Scaramouche and they have been collaborating on a new body of works for the past several months. The results (mixed-media works on aluminum) are being shown in the context of their Entrelacs exhibition which opens today at Galerie LeRoyer in Montreal. The pieces are conceptualized and executed by Roy, then embelished and enhanced by Prieur through engraving and one of our favorites is the superb La Séductrice shown above.
